Mini Sling
A transvaginal mesh implant to help treat urinary incontinence
The mini sling, also called the single incision sling, is a transvaginal mesh implant created to help women experiencing urinary incontinence. A single ¾ inch incision is performed underneath the urethra, and the whole procedure takes about 5-10 minutes. While it’s considered the least invasive form of mesh surgery, many patients develop complications such as pain during intercourse, vaginal pain, vaginal erosion, bladder or urethral erosion and incomplete bladder emptying.
